Nature's Urban Farm
Nature’s Urban Farm came about from a passion for gardening and growing organic foods.
We saw a desire for more microgreens in the health market.
The owner, Helen Malisan, loves everything about nature: healthy, fresh and tasty.
She loves gardening flowers and vegetables, so she decided to grow microgreens for the local health shops, organic shops and restaurants in and around Gauteng.

Microgreens contain 40% more nutrients than fully grown vegetables and are easier to incorporate into quick meals.
While their nutrient contents vary slightly, most varieties tend to be rich in potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium and copper.
They are also a great source of beneficial plant compounds like antioxidants and are better eaten raw than cooked, but they can be incorporated into cooked meals.
